About SWAHA
The Southern Wisconsin Appaloosa Horse Association (SWAHA) is a regional show and family-oriented club sanctioned by the Appaloosa Horse Club in Moscow, Idaho to promote the Appaloosa as a breed.
The organization sponsors several events each year to serve its membership,
including:
Sponsoring Appaloosa breed shows
Hosting a 100% payback halter and futurity performance futurity program
Holding a year-end awards banquet for honors earned through the awards program
Promoting large show turnouts
Taking special care to hire quality judges
Furnishing its membership with an informative newsletter
Representing the Appaloosa breed at the Midwest Horse Fair in cooperation with surrounding Appaloosa clubs
Making owning and showing an Appaloosa as much fun as possible
Having a friendly task force to help members with their needs, questions, and concerns
